Vale Farmhouse is only a short drive away from Towcester Racecourse, the Grand Union Canal and Stoke Bruerne Canal Museum, Stowe Gardens and several stately homes including historic Althorp, Castle Ashby and Sulgrave Manor. Silverstone Circuit and Collingtree Golf Course are nearby too.
Ashton benefits from local shops, but real shopoholics can take advantage of designer outlets and other stores in Milton Keynes and Northampton.
